Wild Donkey's of Nevis

Looking south and east from Pamela's (beyond this outcropping)  house is Montserrat, this island has an active volcano that began erupting in 1995 causing two thirds of the population to flee, mostly to Great Britain, bringing the population down to as low as 1,200 people. The southern half of the island is an exclusion zone.

There are 2,000 wild donkeys on Nevis , when the volcano erupted, barges from Montserrat brought them here.

Like the goats and sheep they free range all over the island.

Including the ocean beaches. They mostly stay out of the way and graze, but you do need to watch your step.
