The size of Brugges old city surprised me, with a population of just over 117k, the old city is very good at accommodating 9mm tourist each year.

We parked outside the old city, beautiful scenery along the walking and bike paths lead the way
The walking path took us to a road with a row of houses built in 1430, called "Gods House", this was built for poor people and now is private residences.
Saturday markets seem like an new trend, but you have to believe it is a new old fashion way. The size and quality of this market is the best I have seen. Passing by all of the booth's and sales people you could pick up the energy and joy of trading.
The area was busy and crowded, Henk noticed that Lois and I were in awe, so he made a plan if we get separated to meet at main street
Driving between cities it is striking the number of small farms with all kinds of produce and livestock. No sign of massive feeding areas for the cattle, just beautiful green pastures for grass feeding. There are plenty of local farms to stock this Saturday market. Above you see fruit stands with brisk sales!
This is part of the Saturday Market and Dad this is not heaven. Rows and food trucks full of rotisserie chicken😋
